Parking, meet your match Using 4 separate cameras, Around View® Monitor creates a composite image of Rogue from above and displays it on the LCD monitor. This helps visually confirm the vehicle’s position relative to the lines around parking spaces and adjacent objects, allowing the driver to maneuver into parking spots with more ease and safety.
4.3’’ Display Audio The Rogue’s available 4.3’’ Display Audio includes six speakers for optimum sound experience. Add to that MP3 CD capability, a USB input that displays all iPod® key features and the ability to play music directly from your personal flash drive, and you’re ready to hit the road singing.
Custom-engineered Bose® audio Rock out to the deep, rich notes of Rogue’s available Bose® audio system with eight custom-engineered, strategically placed speakers, including a self-amplified Nd® Richbass® woofer.
Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System With Rogue’s available Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, you can make or receive calls with the touch of a button the steering wheel. Plus, view caller ID, manage your phonebook, and even leave yourself a message.
Keyless convenience Rogue’s available Nissan Intelligent Key® lets you unlock the doors and hatch by tapping a button on the handle. Once inside, you can even start the engine, all while keeping the key in your bag or pocket.
PERFORMANCE
Pour it on. Sip it up Master the city streets and the gas pump. With Rogue’s advanced, lightweight 2.5-liter engine you get a big 28 mpg to go along with big excitement.
Gearless Leader Push down on the accelerator and the intelligent CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) maintains engine rpm – instead of shifting – so you’re always in the sweetest part of the power band. Virtually “gearless” and amazingly smooth, the result is a lively response. Ease up and the intelligent CVT holds the rpm amazingly low, for quiet cruising and good conversation. And now the new Sport mode provides a more responsive driving experience.
The advanced intuitive all-wheel drive (AWD) system recognizes the difference between cruising and cornering, between on-road and off-road, and automatically sends the right amount of power to the front and rear wheels.
ZIP-Start with all four From a stop, press down on the accelerator and the intuitive AWD turns on, delivering power to both the front and rear wheels for maximum traction from the get-go.
SIP-Cruise with just 2 The AWD system adapts when you make the transition from city to highway, sending all the power up front to boost fuel efficiency and reduce wear and tear.
GRIP-Corner with all four The AWD system adapts again when cornering, transferring just the right amount of power from the front to the rear wheels for added control.
SAFETY
Six standard air bags always at the ready The Nissan Advanced Air Bag System includes deal-stage supplemental front air bags equipped with seat belt and occupant-classification sensors. Rogue also has front side-impact supplemental air bags built into the seats, so they move with you. In addition, roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags (with rollover sensor) help provide head protection for front and rear outboard passengers in side-impact collisions.
Front-seat Active Head Restraints This feature helps reduce the chance of whiplash-type injuries to you and your front passenger by moving the head restraints up and forward during certain rear-end collisions.
The best accident is one that never happens Rogue uses advanced technology to help you avoid trouble. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) monitors steering and braking in comparison to your actual path and reduces engine power and/or applies brake pressure to specific wheels to help keep you on your steered path. The Traction Control System (TCS) senses drive-wheel spin and responds by reducing throttle or applying brake pressure to help maintain traction. The standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) rapidly pumps the brakes in panic-braking situations to help prevent wheel lockup, so you can continue to steer around obstacles while braking heavily. Brake Assist monitors brake pressure, and if it detects and emergency, will automatically help to apply maximum braking force. Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) sends extra force to the rear brakes when it senses additional weight in the back.
