It starts with the Endurance V8
The biggest standard truck engine in its class puts up some massive numbers: 317 horsepower.  385 lb-ft of torque and up to 9,500 lbs.  of towing.  Toss in up to one ton of payload, and you’re hooked up with a whole lot of options for the day’s doings.

Give yourself an efficiency boost
The big, beefy V8 on the Nissan Titan features a high-flow intake that maximizes every heaping gulp of air.  Molybdenum-coated pistons and microfinished valves cut friction to both boost revs and increase engine endurance.

Tow to the max – up to 9,500 lbs.
Titan hauls the big toys – up to 9,500 lbs.  (King Cab with Premium Utility Package; 9,400 lbs. on Crew Cab) – thanks to 385 lb-ft of torque mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.  It’s advanced Tow/Haul Mode holds the lower gears longer for improved acceleration and better braking on steep declines.

Strength is a fully boxed steel frame
To build a better truck, we had to think inside the box.  As in the fully boxed ladder frame that’s at the core of every Titan.  Some competitors use 3-sided open C-rails instead.  But you don’t need to be a structural engineer to know the obvious – when building, 4 walls are stronger than 3. 

Get hard-core
In addition to a fully boxed ladder frame, Titan stocks components built for no-nonsense performance.  Like Dana® axles wherever there’s a drive wheel.  Rancho® shocks for off-road toughness.  A heavy-duty suspension to help soak up life’s bumps, and oversize brakes for long-lasting durability and confident towing. 

PRO-4X

Own the off-road
For those who like to live off-off-off the beaten path, the only choice is Titan PRO-4X.  This 4-wheeler adds elements like an electronic locking rear differential, Rancho® off-road shocks, and underbody skid plates to Titan’s already bold list of features.  It’s got the gear, the guts, the tech to handle it. 

In serious business, a strong grip is key
When 4-Wheel Drive LO isn’t enough for the crawl you’ve got planned, the electronic locking rear differential is ready and extremely able.  Flip the switch and this ultimate off-road feature powers both rear wheels equally to boost grip and keep you moving forward.

Don’t spin your wheels
All Titan models include ABLS, a system that senses when a wheel begins to slip, then automatically brakes the slipping wheel (or wheels) and sends additional power to the wheels with the best traction.

Titan uses advanced technology to actively help you avoid trouble.  Standard Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) monitors the vehicle’s dynamic systems and helps compensate for oversteer or understeer.  An Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) watches over all four wheels, while Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) uses sensors to “read” additional weight – whether it’s a full cargo bed or a full tank of gas – and sends extra force to the rear brakes.
