Use the trick fold-down passenger’s seat, and you’ve got the versatility to carry four passengers and an 8-foot long item at the same time.

Pathfinder serves up a taste of the future with available Nissan Intelligent Key®. Approach the vehicle and it recognizes your key’s unique signal and allows you to unlock the door with the tap of a button on the door handle. Once inside, start your Pathfinder and drive away without ever touching your keys.

With the available Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and your Bluetooth®- enabled phone, you can make and receive calls with a touch of the button on the steering wheel. The system will even mute the audio system when you answer a call and return it to its original setting when you hang up.

The RearView Monitor adds an extra element of confidence when navigating those tight parking spots. It automatically operates when the transmission is in reverse, so you can be more easily aware of what’s behind you.
CAPABILITY
Shift-on-the-fly 4WD
Shift between 2WD and 4WD at the switch of a dial, even at speeds approaching 60 mph. For severe conditions that demand lots of control at very low speeds, shift it into 4LO and crawl over just about anything.
All-Mode 4WD®
The system constantly monitors conditions to provide optimal traction on varying terrain. Switch to “Auto” mode and it automatically senses any loss of grip and shifts between 2WD and 4WD as needed.
A specialist on tough terrain
Innovative technologies like Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) make easy work out of the roughest trails. A full-length boxed frame increases torsional stiffness for enhanced performance whether your adventure is on the road or off. And to make the frame stronger and lighter, it is made from high-tensile-strength steel. Independent suspensions in both the front and rear smooth the roughest roads – even for 3rd-row passengers.

Four Standard braking technologies
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) helps you stay on your steered path by reducing engine power and/or applying appropriate brake pressure to specific wheels. Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) applies braking pressure to slipping wheels and redirects power to wheel(s) with traction. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) rapidly pumps the brakes to help prevent your wheels from locking. Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) detects additional weight and sends added brake force to the rear wheels.
