Frontier’s full-length, fully boxed ladder frame features super-high-tensile-strength steel built into strategic areas of the frame for rock-solid performance, on-and off-road.  It also makes the frame an ideal place to attach substantial powertrain suspension components. 

Power is yours for the asking
Frontier gets motivated with an available 24-value, 4.0-L V6 pumping out 261 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque.  Choose a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic to get the job done.  Or you can opt for an efficient 2.5-L 4-cylinder providing 152 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque with either a 5-speed manual transmission or 5-speed automatic transmission.

Always pulling for you
With a 4.0-liter engine packing 261 horsepower, you won’t find a more powerful V6 in its class.  And with a 6,500-lb.  maximum towing capacity, you’ve got the muscle you need for work – or play. 

Advanced 4WD
Frontier’s available 4WD system features a shift-on-the-fly 4-Wheel Drive with a 2-speed transfer case and a 4LO setting with an impressive crawl ration.  An incredible 10.1’’ ground clearance at the rear differential, with up to 32.6° angle of approach and up to 23.3° angle of departure means little gets in your way. 

Hill start assist
If you’re stopped on an incline, available Hill start assist helps prevent rolling backward.  Clutch start/cancel allows models with manual transmission to start the vehicle from a stop without using the clutch. 

Hill descent control
Available Hill descent control helps control your speed and break pressure, freeing you up to concentrate on navigating difficult off-road situations.

PRO-4X
Official ruler of mud and rock.  The PRO-4X comes with ultimate off-road gear, including an electronic locking rear differential that delivers equal power to the rear wheels to boost traction.  All models feature the gripping power of Active Break Limited Slip (ABLS) to help maintain steering control.  Add in unique 16’’ 6-spoke alloy wheels, fog lights and an interior with red trim and stitching, and you’ve got Frontier to the extreme, inside and out.

Expand your horizons
Finding a Frontier that fits your needs is easy.  Frontier Crew Cab Standard Bed has spacious room for 5 and a bed length of 59.5’’.  Need more cargo space?  Frontier King Cab Standard Bed and Crew Cab Long Bed both feature a bed over 6 feet long, at 73.3’’.

The Utili-track® Channel System on the Frontier gives you choices few other trucks can match.  No matter what type of cargo you’re carrying, this available system is fully equipped to help keep it secured tightly.  Five channels, four cleats and a lot of thought about how people really use their trucks have created a system that’s simple, rugged and offers near-infinite possibilities.

Engineered from the bottom up
Frontier’s unique Utili-track® Channel System uses five channels running the length and width of the bed; two channels on the floor – one on each sidewall, and one along the header.  The available spray-on bedliner adds to the incredible versatility of the bed.  It’s applied at the factory – so you know it’s done right.  Fade- and weather-resistant, it’s a rugged, non-skid surface that adheres directly to the bed to help prevent rusting. 

Heavy-duty Cleats
Four cleats – forged of heavy-duty aluminum – move and lock along the channels for near-infinite storage possibilities.

There’s a full line of accessories to help you get even more out of Utili-track® Channel System, including a sliding tool box, a sliding bed divider and a sliding bed extender.

Frontier Crew Cab
In here, space and comfort are as abundant as fresh air.  Forward hinged doors make for easy entry, while a spacious rear bench allow comfortable seating for five.

Under-seat storage helps keep your cabin clean and valuables away from prying eyes.  Mesh netting helps hold items in place.  The tray is easily removed for additional storage space.

The dual-level glove compartment helps keep things organized and gives easy access.

Close at hand
The multi-level center console features removable beverage inserts to hold those really big drinks and a deep bin for maximum storage.  Clips to hold pens are built into the lid of the console.

SAFETY

Safety.  First and foremost.
In Frontier, your protection is our priority.  Along with the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System, the advanced front seats belts on ever Frontier feature pretensioners that automatically help tighten the belts when the front air bags deploy.  And if your body puts too much force on the belt, load limiters give a bit.  During a rear-end impact, front-seat Active Head Restraints move up and toward you to meet your head part of the way, helping close the gap and reducing the chances of whiplash. 

The best accident is the one that never happens
Frontier uses advanced technology to help you avoid trouble.  Standard on all models is a 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) plus Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) that senses additional weight, whether it’s a full cargo bed or a full tank of gas, and sends extra force to the rear brakes.  On all models, standard Vehicle Dynamic Control (VCD), also known as electronic stability control, monitors the vehicle’s dynamic system and helps compensate for oversteer or understeer to help keep you on your path.
