World’s first SynchroRev Match® manual transmission
Groundbreaking SynchroRev Match manual transmission technology, available on the Sport Package, monitors the 6-speed’s clutch pedal operation, shift lever movement and vehicle speed. Shifting to a lower gear automatically “blips” the throttle to the ideal engine rpm for a smooth downshift. With smoother shifts helping to keep the chassis balanced, this transmission is able to deliver handling and power.
An aggressive, ultra-quick automatic transmission
A 7-speed automatic transmission gives you the best of a manual and an automatic – a wide spread of gearing for heart-pounding acceleration, while still providing improved efficiency and quiet cruising at higher speeds. And with the automatic’s steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters adding such precise shifting control, you’ll swear there should be a clutch pedal.

Precise control makes all the difference between wasting precious power and maximizing all the 370Z® has to give. A low center of gravity leads to ultra-responsive handling, and a wide track further enhances cornering. These engineering details along with the 370Z®’s relatively short wheelbase and overall length, make for incredible maneuverability and, ultimately, performance.
50/50 dynamic balance in the curves
A nearly 50/50 dynamic weight balance achieved at the precise moment the driver accelerates out of the corner helps establish the 370Z®’s extremely precise handing and unique feel. To achieve better acceleration under load, the Nissan engineers have set the static ration at 53 front/47 rear.
Smart engineering for added quickness
To harness all 332 hp, Nissan engineers improved the design and material composites for key rotating components. The available 19’’ RAYS® super-lightweight forged alloy wheels are nearly 20% lighter than those on the previous generation Z®. And the reduced rotating mass on the lighter, incredibly strong carbon-fiber composite driveshaft helps the engine rev more quickly.
A rigid chassis for road forgiveness
The suspension reacts quickly to your input and the road thanks to the stiffness that comes from an under-hood 3-point strut tower brace and an underbody V-brace. The 370Z®’s front suspension uses strong yet lightweight aluminum components for extraordinary responsiveness and feel.
Zero-lift aerodynamics
All Z® models feature zero front lift. And if you’re an enthusiast seeking added performance, you can choose the Sport Package that includes a lower front chin aero deflector and rear spoiler for zero rear lift.

Enhancing the already powerful 370Z®, the NISMO Z® gains 18 hp to a staggering 350 hp, and 6 lb-ft to 276 lb-ft of torque.
Free-flow dual exhaust
A free-flow dual exhaust combined with H-pipe configuration reduces back pressure up to 30%. The result: responsive upper-end power for an exhilarating redline rush and an exhaust note that’s pure performance.
Vibration dampers and chassis reinforcements
Taking a cue from Formula One, the NISMO Z® features special body dampers mounted on the front chassis frame rail (shown in orange) and below the rear cargo area to help control body vibrations, for a controlled ride and precise steering response. Additional braces on the front strut tower bar improve overall high-body rigidity.
Competition-tuned independent suspension
The NISMO Z® features an aggressively tuned suspension to satisfy the most demanding enthusiast. To enhance response and control, front and rear spring rates are raised 15% and 10% respectively, and roll stiffness increased by 15%.
19’’ forged alloy wheels and tires
Massive grip is provided by 245/40R10 front and 285/35R19 rear Yokohama® ADVAN Sport® Y-rated tires. Connecting them to the chassis are staggered-width 19’’ x 9.5’’ front and 19’’ x 10.5’’ rear NISMO super-lightweight forged wheels by RAYS®.

NISMO aerodynamic down-force body design
The body of the NISMO Z® provides significant down-force for inspiring handling and grip while not compromising coefficient of drag. Extensive wind-tunnel testing was used to minimize aerodynamic drag – often a by-product of high down-force designs – to create a vehicle that is as sleek to the air as it is aggressive to the eye.
